Utah Highway Patrol Trooper Saves Driver Seconds Before Train Hits Vehicle

This morning on I-15, a vehicle crashed and landed on the FrontRunner train tracks in Centerville. UHP Trooper Ruben Correa immediately stopped his patrol car, got out and ran to the car pulling the driver out seconds before a train hit it.

Colonel Rapich of the Utah Highway Patrol said “An incredible and heroic action by Trooper Ruben Correa. We are so grateful that the Driver and Trooper are safe after this extremely close call. Well done Trooper Correa!!!”
