Utah Highway Patrol Troopers arrested Matthew Mitchell at his Davis County home for driving recklessly. UHP had been investigating Mitchell for about a month when they made a traffic stop in his neighborhood.
Mitchell had been uploading his driving videos to Youtube showing his reckless driving. “Normally, people want to shy away from it or hide their recklessness,” Trooper Tosh Bennett said. “There were some videos where he appeared to be boastful or proud of his driving patterns.”
Some of the videos Mitchell posted show him swerving between lanes, passing on the shoulder and following too closely.
Mitchell faces nine charges including careless driving, reckless driving, improper lane operation and following too closely.
