Ben Affleck saved the day after he offered to pay the travel costs for the mother of a young boy with terminal cancer so they could be together.
Mukuta is a refugee from Zimbabwe, and is currently being treated at an Atlanta hospice center for terminal cancer. On April 1, the hospital asked via Twitter for someone to come and impersonate Batman because Mukuta is a big fan. Cue Ben Affleck. He contacted Makuta on Facetime. Once he learned that the boy’s mother was not able to travel to the hospital from Zimbabwe, Ben generously offered to help reunite the two by paying for her flight.
