POLICE -- AT SEVERAL SALT LAKE VALLEY AGENCIES -- ARE SEARCHING FOR A 5' 11" HISPANIC MAN, WHO THEY BELIEVE KNOCKED OVER FOUR DIFFERENT FAST FOOD RESTAURANTS, ALL WITHIN ABOUT AN HOUR-AND-A-HALF, THURSDAY NIGHT.

UNIFIED POLICE LT. JUSTIN HOYAL SAYS, IN HIS JURISDICTION, THE MAN ENTERED A TACO BELL, NEAR 55TH WEST, ON 62ND SOUTH, IN KEARNS -- AND SHOWED THE CASHIER A GUN, TUCKED INTO HIS WAISTBAND.

HOWEVER, AT THAT RESTAURANT, THE CASHIER TOLD THE SUSPECT SHE HAD ALREADY CALLED POLICE... AND HE FLED -- IN A BLACK, TWO-DOOR SPORTS CAR -- BEFORE GETTING ANY MONEY.

THE MAN IS ALSO SUSPECTED OF HITTING BUSINESSES IN WEST JORDAN AND WEST VALLEY CITY.

NO SHOTS WERE FIRED... AND THEIR WERE NO INJURIES.
