Two LDS missionaries, from Utah, doubled as crimefighters this week, outside their home in Mesa, Arizona.

Missionary Corey Brown says he and his companion observed a man removing laptops and jewelry from their neighbors' house.

As they followed the suspect to his car, on foot, the missionaries called 9-1-1 -- so the police weren't far behind.

The neigbors got all their possessions back, before they even knew it was gone.

Brown says the suspect may have mistaken him for a detective, because he was still dressed in his shirt and tie.
